The Prime Minister unveiled the cutting-edge Darshan Queue complex at Shirdi, a grand structure designed to offer devotees a comfortable waiting experience. The facility boasts multiple waiting halls and can accommodate over ten thousand devotees, offering air-conditioned amenities such as cloakrooms, toilets, booking and prasad counters, and an information center. The inception of this modern complex dates back to October 2018 when the Prime Minister laid its foundation stone.

  1. Inauguration of New District Ayush Hospital under National Ayush Mission :

  • A new District Ayush Hospital will be inaugurated in Kakdi (Shirdi), Ahmednagar, Maharashtra on Thursday, October 26, 2023.

  • The function will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Governor of Maharashtra Ramesh Bais, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde, and other dignitaries.

  • The new hospital will provide Ayush healthcare services to the people of Ahmednagar and surrounding areas.

  1. Inauguration of Additional Tankage and Other Facilities at Manmad Terminal :


IndianOil and Petroleum Ministry will inaugurate additional facilities at Manmad Terminal on October 26, 2023 in Shirdi, Maharashtra. The inauguration will be done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing.

  1. Dedication to the Nation of Electrified Road Railway Section (186 Route Km) of Kurduvadi-Latur, Third and Fourth Railway Lines (24.46 Km) from Jalgaon to Bhusawal :

Prime Minister Modi reminisced about the inauguration of the Vande Bharat train, which established a link between Mumbai and Shirdi, emphasizing the ongoing expansion of Maharashtra’s railway network. He also pointed out that the initiation of the third and fourth railway lines between Jalgaon and Bhusaval will facilitate smoother travel on the Mumbai-Howrah route.

  1. Four-laning of Road from Sangli to Solapur NH-166, Package-1 :

The development of a four-lane road stretching from Solapur to Borgaon is set to enhance the connectivity across the Konkan region, providing a boost to local industries and farmers cultivating sugarcane, grapes, and turmeric. This improved connectivity is poised to pave the way for not just better transportation, but also significant economic growth and progress.

  1. Inauguration of Irrigation Water from Nilwande Reservoir for Beneficiary Area :

The Prime Minister has officially opened the left bank canal network of the Nilwande Dam, spanning 85km, to the public. This development is set to positively impact 182 villages across 7 Tehsils, six in Ahmednagar district and one in Nashik district, by enabling water distribution through pipe networks. The concept of the Nilwande Dam dates back to 1970 and its construction, costing approximately Rs 5177 crores, is currently underway.

  1. Namaskar Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana ॥ First Installment Distribution Ceremony ॥

The ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana’ was initiated by the Prime Minister, aiming to provide an extra annual support of Rs 6000 to over 86 lakh recipients of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra.

  1. Distributes Ayushman Cards and Svamitva cards to beneficiaries :

The Prime Minister emphasized that the welfare of the underprivileged is the topmost concern of the double-engine government, and as the nation’s economy grows, so does the budget allocated for their welfare.

He shared that 1.1 crore Ayushman Cards have been distributed in Maharashtra, offering beneficiaries health insurance coverage up to Rs 5 lakh, with a total government expenditure of Rs 70,000 crores. Additionally, he highlighted that over Rs 4 lakh crores have been spent on providing free food supplies to the needy and building sturdy homes for them.
